Dagny Dryer Rossignol started painting watercolours in 1997 and acrylics in 2007. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the land and ocean, and also by old man-made objects amidst natural growth. As an oncologist, she is faced daily with the pain and fragility of life. In her painting she enters another world of imagination, memory and dreams. She owes some of her inspiration to her mother, sister, son and grandfather, all artists. She lives with her husband John Rossignol in Little Sands, Prince Edward Island. Dr. Dryer practises in Charlottetown and Montague.
